Serenaded Sunset

Pylons from a pre civil war bridge remain after the union soldiers dismantled it to prevent confederate troops from crossing the Susquehanna.  A friend and I painted this sunset en plein air, and as we were creating our work, a group of young people gathered at the shoreline and began singing hymns of praise!  One of those moments that is chill giving.
